James is an actor based in West London. He grew up in Brighton with a mixed race English / Chinese family.

He has a strong background in theatre, including spending two years making magic in 'Harry Potter and the Cursed Child' in the West End. His physical performance skills were then developed further, along with aerial skills, during his time as 'Peter Pan' in Gary Owen's new adaptation of J.M.Barrie's classic. Prior to this, James also worked on Regent's Park Open Air Theatre's 'Lord of the Flies' and brought sassy Texan trailer trash drag queen Miss Iona Traylor to life in Del Shore's 'Southern Baptist Sissies' at Above the Stag Theatre. His drag work was later expanded on in Leo LeBeau's 2019 mocumentary, 'Sugarbabies' in which he played high maintenance drag diva, Diamond.

James' video game voiceover career began with Creative Assembly whilst working on 'Total War: Three Kingdoms' as Sima Jiong. He is now working on their upcoming project 'Total War: Warhammer 3'.

James is also now enthusiastically delving into animation voiceover, having worked on Frog Box and Creative Conspiracy's 'Ninja Express' (for the BBC in the UK) and on Wildseed Studio's 'Dodo' for Sky.
