Katy is Liverpool born and bred with a full range of natural friendly Northern accents and a reassuring smooth RP. In 2020 she narrated TV documentaries Meat the Family (C4) and QE2 - The World Greatest Cruise Ship (C5). During her long career she has also voiced many adverts, corporates and character led audio books. 

Katy is known best for roles such as Twist from the cult sitcom Spaced, Lucy Barlow in Coronation Street and for regular roles in Waterloo Road and Casualty. Other profile TV work includes Safe, The Miniaturist, Three Girls, Moving On, Mistresses, Liverpool One, Cutting It, Clocking Off, Hex, The Paul Merton series and The Infinite World of HG Wells.

Film appearances include Disney’s Christopher Robin, Misbehaviour and Martin Amis’s Dead Babies. She played opposite Steven Berkoff on the London stage, toured internationally with Kneehigh Theatre and performed leading roles at theatres throughout the UK. She's Artistic Director of Theatre Damfino and Table of Delights, whose award-wining productions have toured from Bristol Old Vic to New York.

Some of her other voice credits include Yazoo, Cadbury's Dairy Milk (Coronation Street TV idents), Ariel, Tetley, B&Q, Blackhorse, Pets at Home, Flybe & Netflix/You Tube

She has voiced documentaries such as The QE2 (C5), Will & Kate and The Osbournes. Corporate clients have included BT, Avis, Calor Gas, Heathrow, Nationwide, Cuticura, Computershare, Bluebird Care, Bombora, Close Brothers, Lloyds bank and Blackhorse Finance. 

Katy’s is in demand as an audiobook reader.  Some of her many titles include The Rook, The Tenant of Wildfell Hall, Bleed Like Me, The Thirteenth, Nysteria Rising. Better Than Fiction, Searching for a Silver Lining, My Summer of Love and Limoncello.

 She has performed in many BBC Radio 4 plays and co-created the afternoon play Mayday Mayday (USA winner of 3rd Coast Award and Drama of the Year runner up - Radio 4).
