Catherine is originally from Belfast. Her voice work is mainly in commercials and includes work for ITV and Camelot. She was also the voice of Junction 1 for several campaigns. Catherine also feels it’s important to “give back” and has volunteered as a reader for talking papers - an audio version of local news for the visually impaired. She’s also been a regular reader for the audio version of the Art of Living.
Catherine’s background is in comedy and drama. Having performed in theatre, short films and wrote and directed plays in Belfast (at the The Lyric, the Old Museum Arts Centre and the Crescent Arts Centre) she moved to London to train at Central School of Speech and Drama. Since then Catherine has performed in theatre, appeared in commercials and idents (including work for the Co-op, VH1 & Baxters) and briefly dabbled in stand-up comedy. She’s also taught drama for Theatretrain and at residential courses for Stagewise. She teaches creative writing in primary schools for Nipperbout and directed two end of term shows at Cambridge Regional College. She’s also devised and directed children’s plays and musicals.
Catherine’s voice also lends itself to narration and audio books.
