Brian Bowles' performing career began as a musician/singer-songwriter with his two bands: The Bowles Bros. and The Bouncing Czecks. His versatility means he now has some 60 video games to his credit. He narrated the Bafta winning Divinity Original Sin 2 and played a principal character, Sceleritas Fel, in the 7 times 'Best Game of the Year' Baldur's Gate 3. Recently he played Russell and 13 other characters in Metaphor: Refantazio (another title tipped for Game of the Year).
In his early career a recording contract, numerous radio and TV appearances (with bands as disparate as Meatloaf and The Sex Pistols) plus commissioned songwriting for BBC Radio and TV, led to national and international tours including sell-out runs at the Edinburgh Festival, the Melbourne Comedy Festival and in Hong Kong.
His two-hander stand-up act The Singing Firemen performed at the Comedy Store and all major UK comedy venues. He also managed to fit in tours to 17 countries worldwide with the English Teaching Theatre.
Early voice work was with BBC Radio Comedy, performing on over 200 sketch shows and sit coms. This led to work as an impressionist on Spitting Image and Dead Ringers. Award winning animations Captain Pugwash and the darkly adult series Monkey Dust followed.
As a vocal 'all-rounder' he was a member of the BBC Radio Drama Company and also worked on numerous TV series and feature films including Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings and Slumdog Millionaire.
He has clocked up some 4,500 audio sessions thus far and looks forward to the next 4,500.
