Sandy is an extremely accomplished singer and played both roles of Mrs Lyons and Mrs Johnston in the award winning show Blood Brothers in the West End and on tour.

For a short time she went to Italy where she was much in demand as a dubbing artist and  upon her return to England  became involved in many diverse projects including co- writing and acting in four one-woman shows, all of which played to critical acclaim both in London and at the prestigious Edinburgh Fringe Festival. The show Sandy enjoyed most was Correspondent in which she played a female war reporter and prompted Jon Snow (presenter Channel 4 news) to send her a personal letter congratulating her both on the content of the play and her outstanding performance.

Sandy kept on utilising her vocal skills by performing in countless radio plays. She is also a very talented voice over artist and is a familiar voice on countless commercials including Wella, Ariel, Huggies and her own personal favourite Za Za the cat in the Virgin commercials.

She has also provided the voice for many narrations for documentaries on television and radio. Her work as a presenter on the BBC World Service has given her the opportunity to interview such well known celebrities including the late Baroness Barbara Castle, Terry Waite and Benjamin Zefaniah - to name just three.

Sandy was delighted to be given recognition as an actress when she was awarded a coveted Fringe First for one of her one woman shows in Edinburgh. She was also awarded a coveted Sony Award for co-presenting with Robin Lustig on the programme Newstalk (BBC World Service).

She has performed at The Hilton Gatwick, Pizza Express and the prestigious Spice of Life in London.  Her voice has been described as powerful, sultry and though trained not overly suave to do justice to The American Songbook.

As well as many corporate events she was delighted to sing for the Cadburys Diamond wedding anniversary.

She speaks and sometimes sings in Italian, French and Portugese.
