Josie trained at the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art in London.

Her acting CV includes: 'Tamara Drewe' (dir. Stephen Frears) 'Youth' (dir. Paulo Sorrentino) 'Doctor Who’ , ‘Midsomer Murders’, ‘Hollyoaks’ and ‘Casuality’. Her theatre credits include 'My Name is Rachel Corrie' (dir. Alan Rickman), ’The Vegemite Tales’ (West End), and Lady Brett Ashley in ‘Fiesta: The Sun Also Rises’ at Trafalgar Studios. 

Raised in Australia by UK and US parents, Josie works in a native Australian accent as well as impeccable US, British and mid-Atlantic.

Josie's animation credits include 'Boj' with Jason Donovan (CBeebies) 'Bob the Builder' (Channel 5), 'Lexie & Lottie' (Channel 10, Australia) as well as the forthcoming kid-spy caper, ‘Berry Bees’ for ABC Australia. She was also the computer voice in ‘No Man’s Sky’ for Hello Games.

Josie has recorded commercial voiceovers for Microsoft, Aussie Haircare, The Sydney Writer's Festival and Omnia Casino. 

When she’s not in the vocal booth, Josie plays messy guitar and sings the blues. She also has a food blog, The Fresh Ginger, a site dedicated irreverent, fresh and energising healthy eating.
