Helen is the winner of the One Voice Award for ‘Best Female Radio Performance’ 2018.   She has appeared in over 90 audio dramas including playing ongoing lead roles in the audio series THE TOMORROW PEOPLE, SURVIVORS and THE PRISONER (which aired recently on Radio 4 Extra).  She acted opposite Sir John Hurt in THE WAR DOCTOR and most recently played a lead role in THE CREEPING DEATH, alongside David Tennant and Catherine Tate.  She is exceptionally vocally versatile and has played a vast range of characters over the years.

Helen is a prolific director and scriptwriter of audio drama with Big Finish Productions and also produced and co-wrote the audio drama series ATA GIRL, which was a Highly Commended finalist in the BBC AUDIO DRAMA AWARDS 2019.

As a performer, Helen has appeared in numerous theatre productions include MY FAIR LADY (directed by Simon Callow), ROMEO AND JULIET (directed by Judi Dench), UNCLE VANYA (directed by Kenneth Branagh), ABIGAIL’S PARTY, ME AND MY GIRL, THE TAMING OF THE SHREW, MACBETH, HELLO DOLLY and JUST SO, performing in the West End, on tour and in several rep seaons including Regents Park Open Air Theatre and Chichester Festival Theatre.  TV work includes THE SECOND QUEST (directed by David Jason), DOCTORS and WAKING THE DEAD.

As a singer, Helen has appeared in innumerable concerts and cabarets all around the world.  She started writing her own comic songs in 2010, performing them both as a one woman show and with her trio, LADIES GO-DIVA, which toured for 3 years and headlined at Zedel’s in the West End
