Ben has been a regular face on television for the last 20 years.

As an actor, his first big break came playing bad boy ‘Lewis Richardson’ for six and a half years in Channel 4’s Soap, ‘Hollyoaks’.

From there he went on to have regular roles in shows such as, ‘Family Affairs’ ‘The Royal Today’ and ‘Brookside’ where he was described by Cosmopolitan magazine as, ‘The thinking woman’s totty’.

He was the lead in the semi-improvised ITV show, ‘Crime Stories’ and currently can be seen as dishy Doctor, ‘Mr Thompson’ in BBC1’s ‘Holby’.

Ben is a Presenter too and his easy, familiar style has led him to work extensively with 'Travel Channel'. His reports have covered regions as diverse as the Amazon in Peru, the Wadi Rum in Jordan and Cape Horn in Chile to name but a few.

Many of the shows he has presented have been nominated for travel awards and won him fans around the world. Most recently Bens ship report from the 'Celebrity Silhouette' won ‘Best Broadcast Cruise Feature’ at the PSA Cruise Journalism Awards 2013, and his ‘Cruising Around Cape Horn’ programme was runner up in the 2013 British Travel Press Awards.

Ben has provided Voice Over work for all of his Travel Shows, as well as the initial pilot episode of ‘Crime Stories’. He also voiced a series of characters for the interactive online game, ‘Perplex City’.

He is a keen writer, about his own experiences as a young Dad dealing with the whirlwind of co-parenting, (a perspective he feels that is much overlooked) and also about his travels around the world.

Ben loves cooking, and enjoys good wine to go with good food. To balance things, he throws himself into exercise and enjoys running (he has completed two London Marathons) playing squash, scuba diving and skiing.

Most impressively of all however, he can change a nappy single-handed and has a got both a one and a three year old dressed, and out the door in a P.B of an hour and a half.
