Ruth won a Manchester Evening News Theatre Award for her performance in Ways to Look at Fish by Colette Kane at the 24:7 Festival and The Library Theatre, Manchester.
Other theatre includes Stepping Out at the Union Theatre, Nevermind at The Old Red Lion, Matryoshka at The Landor Theatre and Crying in the Chapel, Women and Newspaper Boy at Contact Theatre, Manchester.
Ruth has twice appeared in Granada’s Coronation Street - her favourite role being Nancy Gaskell who was the chairwoman of Blanche’s famous One O’clock Club
Recent radio work includes Salford Tales, recorded for the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra and broadcast on Radio Manchester.
